Jessica DeCesare has spent the last fifteen years providing valuable, consultative practice management solutions across a broad range of unique veterinary practices within the US. Jessica began her career in the veterinary field as Hospital Administrator in 2000. In this role, she implemented a strategic plan focusing on human resources, program implementation and creative marketing tactics. She managed and directed all business interactions and acted as a liaison between the medical doctors and implementers within her veterinarian team and support staff. In 2007 Jessica shared her experiences with Novartis Animal Health, US, as it began a Key Account Program and ultimately became acting National Key Account Coordinator. In this capacity she offered insights to more than 40 Veterinary practices on a consistent basis and assisted in planning, training, implementation, and tracking results annually.
Most recently, as Partner and Hospital Administrator of Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital, Jessica helped the practice implement a strong human resource program, create and launch targeted marketing initiatives and expand to a 24 Hour Emergency Hospital resulting in significant net growth.
As she embraces her role as Director of Operations with VetEvolve Jessica is excited to work with practices and help them improve and grow. With the personal belief that every practice is different and the knowledge that they also experience common challenges, Jessica prides herself on customizing solutions for the team and the practice. The three things differentiating Jessica from other practice consultants are her hands on management experience, ability to mentor and develop leaders, and her relatable, collaborative approach to the development and implementation of new ideas. She is able to take a complex initiative and break it into manageable steps.
Jessica is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager, member of the Veterinary Hospital Manager Association, International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society as well as the Society of Human Resource Management.
