Jessica DeCesare, CVPM, Vice President of Operations at VetEvolve, was awarded Friend of the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association (VVMA) in an awards ceremony held on Friday, June 11 at the annual VVMA conference. The award is given to a non-veterinarian for outstanding contributions to the profession of veterinary medicine in Virginia.

She helps develop others to be the best contributor to veterinary medicine they can be and mitigate the stress and exhaustion that can often negatively impact veterinary professionals.
Jessica designs and implements different initiatives with the sole goal of developing great professionals through kindness, compassion and encouragement while increasing patient care. Her unbelievable work ethic results in streamlined practices, passionate doctors, and enjoyable work environments that help other people become better, develop satisfying careers and provide premium care for animals.
Jessica is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM). This designation is known and appreciated as the highest credential level for professional veterinary managers and attributed to only a few hundred practice managers in the country.
Jessica is a member of the Veterinarian Hospital Manager Association, International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, Shareholder and Board Member of Central Carroll Animal Emergency in Westminster, Maryland and the Society of Human Resource Management.
