Kaity Blackburn

Kaity Blackburn brings over 17 years of expertise in the animal health industry to her role as Vice President of Business Development at VetEvolve. She specializes in forging strategic partnerships within the veterinary community, with a focus on building meaningful connections that drive growth. 

Kaity’s extensive background includes 9 years at a national veterinary group, where she held pivotal roles, including over 5 years as a Vice President of Business Development. She led expansion efforts across 8 states and spearheaded international expansion into Canada. Her earlier experience as a Regional Operator, overseeing 28 practice teams, further honed her ability to support local leaders and deliver results in dynamic environments. Kaity earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.

Outside of work, Kaity is deeply involved in animal welfare, serving as a current member and former Associate Board Vice President for One Tail at a Time, a Chicago-based animal rescue. She is also an advocate and donor for the Colorado-based nonprofit Street Dog Coalition. Kaity enjoys hiking, backpacking, yoga, skiing, traveling abroad, and staying inspired through podcasts and audiobooks. She shares her home with two beloved rescues: Bo, a super mutt pup, and Archie, a Toronto Humane Society alum cat.
