Catherine Howell is the Chief Executive Officer at VetEvolve, where she is responsible for managing and overseeing the operations and client experience for the VetEvolve community of practices. Prior to becoming CEO, Catherine served as VetEvolve’s Chief Operating Officer, where she played a key role in scaling operations and strengthening support for partner practices.

A seasoned performance leader, Catherine brings 18 years of hands-on experience within a diverse landscape of the healthcare industry. She previously served as COO at Mass Advantage, a Medicare Advantage health plan in Massachusetts, and as VP of Operations at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. She was named one of the Top 10 Up-and-Coming Industry Leaders in Healthcare by Managed Healthcare Executive.

Catherine earned her bachelor’s degree in Science from Virginia Commonwealth University before finishing a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University. Now residing in New Hampshire, Catherine loves to hike and spend time with her four animals (three dogs and a cat). Reading, traveling, cooking, and visiting breweries are among her other hobbies. Mayange Kane is a healthcare executive with more than a decade of experience leading strategy, operations, and growth within complex, physician-led organizations. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer of Rothman Orthopaedics, where she was responsible for enterprise strategy, operational scale, and performance analytics across a multi-market clinical platform. She is recognized for partnering with physicians, boards, and executive leadership to build scalable operating models, strengthen governance and infrastructure, and align clinical quality with financial performance. Kane also supports organizations focused on advancing women and children and is a wife, mother, and dog mom, bringing a disciplined, values-driven perspective to leadership and long-term enterprise value creation.

Mike Polgardy is the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) at VetEvolve, where he is responsible for leading and managing all financial functions across the VetEvolve community of practices.

Mike brings extensive experience as a CFO to VetEvolve. He’s spent more than a decade leading the financial efforts of several companies in the healthcare sector, including recent CFO posts at Thriveworks, JAG Physical Therapy, and Dimensional Dental Management. 

Mike earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware before completing his MBA at Cornell University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Living in Westfield, New Jersey, Mike enjoys spending time with his family—which includes his wife and two daughters—and friends, reading, and staying physically fit. Clayton Stanley brings more than 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions to his role as Chief Development Officer at VetEvolve. He leads all aspects of the company’s acquisition strategy and collaborates with executive leadership to align acquisition efforts with the company’s growth goals.

Before joining VetEvolve, Clayton served as CDO at AmeriVet Veterinary Partners, where he led the acquisition of over 180 clinics and played a key role in the company’s successful sale in 2022. His background also includes roles in investment banking, M&A consulting, and corporate development.

Clayton holds a Master’s in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He lives in San Antonio, TX, with his wife and three children, and enjoys playing golf, tennis, and basketball, as well as spending time with his family.
